Etihad flies non-stop to Abu Dhabi from London Heathrow and Manchester. At Heathrow it uses Terminal 4, with up to four flights a day, and at Manchester it uses Terminal 2. All UK flights land at Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi, where you can connect to the rest of the Etihad network.
The non-stop flight takes about 7 hours. Etihad's fastest one-stop journeys from London take about 10 hours 25 minutes to Karachi, 13 hours 20 minutes to Lahore and 14 hours to Islamabad, including the change of plane in Abu Dhabi.
Every Economy fare includes one cabin bag of up to 7kg and 56 x 36 x 23 cm. Checked baggage depends on your fare: none on Basic, 25kg on Value, 30kg on Comfort and 40kg on Deluxe. On flights to the USA and Canada, Value, Comfort and Deluxe include two 23kg bags instead. No single bag can weigh more than 32kg.
They are Etihad's four Economy fares. Basic is the cheapest, with a cabin bag only and no changes or refunds. Value adds a 25kg checked bag and lets you change dates for a fee. Comfort gives you 30kg, a free standard seat and the option to change or cancel for a fee. Deluxe includes 40kg, a free preferred seat, free changes and free cancellation. All four include food and drinks on board.
On a Comfort fare you can choose a standard seat for free, and on Deluxe a preferred seat, subject to availability. On Basic and Value fares, choosing a seat in advance costs extra. If you want to sit together, tell us when you ask for a quote and we'll compare the fares for you.
Yes. You can break your journey in Abu Dhabi for a few days before flying on, and we can add the stopover to your quote. British passport holders get a free visit visa on arrival in the UAE, valid for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive.
The A380 double-decker flies on some of Etihad's London Heathrow flights. Other UK flights use different aircraft, and this can change by season, so we'll show you which plane is on your flight when we quote.
Most of the Etihad network is flying, including London and Manchester to Abu Dhabi and onward to Pakistan, Jeddah and Madinah. In mid-October 2026, Etihad cancelled flights to Riyadh and Dammam after disruption at those Saudi airports. Things can change at short notice, so we check the latest status before you book and again before you fly.
